This is Meeko ( 3 year old raccoon) and his best friend Cody. ( 8 month old Coatimundi)
Meeko was bought from a breeder so he would be legal for me to have. I never realized how many sacrifices I would end up making just to have it where he could live w/ me in the house. So when I adopted Cody... didnt have to make any changes.. my home is totally coonie/coati proof! They are both a great joy and bring me lots of happiness.
People come over and they dont see how I live w/ these 2 guys. LOL.. but they are my life. They both sleep up in the kitchen cabinets.. but when its cold they sleep in their bedroom inside the mattress.. yes.. inside the mattress.. Meeko has a huge hole in the bed that he dug himself.. This is Meekos third mattress.. good thing for yard sales!
